Dr. Dena Amerine-Harris, O.D.

Dr. Dena Amerine-Harris is a native of the Fort Smith area.  She graduated from Southside High School. After completing four years of undergraduate school at Hendrix College, she was accepted to Southern College of Optometry.  She lived in Memphis, Tennessee for four years and received a Doctor of Optometry Degree.

In July, 1997 after further study she received her Optometric Physician License from the State of Arkansas.

Dr. Dena Amerine-Harris owned the Texas State Optical franchise in Fort smith for ten years.  She then went independent, renaming the practice to Vision Plus.  Her main commitment is to deliver the best vision care to her patients.

Rusty Harris, Optician

Rusy Harris was born in Little Rock, Arkansas and grew up in the suburb of England, Arkansas.  He graduated high school in Scottsdale, Arizona.  He moved back to Arkansas and attended Arkansas College in Batesville Arkansas.

In 2000 he obtained his ABO (American Board of Optician) Certification and his Arkansas State Optical Certification. Rusty has been a member of Arkansas State Optical Association since 2000. He has been a member of the Vision Plus family for 17 years.
